ANOTHER JAB! Museveni Gets Pfizer Booster Dose
President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni has received a booster dose of the Pfizer vaccine a few days after encouraging the elderly to take a booster dose.
In his new year’s address, President Museveni told Ugandans scientists had recommended a booster dose.
“In order to ensure safety against corona, the scientists have now recommended a booster doze for those above the age of 50 years. These are 3.3 million,” he said.
“Therefore, the 50-year old plus persons, that have already received 2 dozes, come out, again, for the booster doze.” (See other directives on reopening here).
Now, as a way of walking the talk, Museveni took a Pfizer booster dose today, according to his senior press secretary Lindah Wamboka Nabusayi.
Later, Museveni said: “I have taken my Covid19 vaccination booster dose. Again, I encourage everyone above the age of 50 to do the same.”
The president and his wife Janet had been inoculated with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
