Bishop Twinomujuni Tips Pupils on Academic Excellence as Parental Care Primary School Bushenyi Celebrates PLE 2025 Success

The Bishop of West Ankole Diocese, Johnson Twinomujuni, has advised pupils at Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi on best practices that lead to success.

Presiding over a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate the school’s superb performance in 2025 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Bishop Twinomujuni told pupils at the school located in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality that success was a result of hard work and time management.

The Bishop also urged the pupils to ensure that their parents do not regret ever working hard to send them to school.

“There is no gambling in life. Success comes because you have worked hard for it. Use your time wisely and study hard,” Bishop Twinomujuni said.

“Your parents are struggling to pay school fees for you—do not make them regret it in the end.”

During the Friday thanksgiving ceremony, the Bishop further noted that good health, knowledge and skills, and a clear goal were key pillars on which people should hinge their quest for success.

He also urged the pupils and parents present at the ceremony to see to it that their leave behind lasting legacies, for which they will be remembered long after they are gone.

On her part, Elivadah Nshemerirwe, the school director, praised God for enabling the school succeed academically and in other fields. Nshemerirwe also thanked teachers and parents for their hard work and for playing their role well.

“For us at Parental Care, God comes first above everything else. I know it has been God who has enabled us to celebrate these good results,” said the school director.

“To our parents, we must continue to share the love that unites us.”

Nshemerirwe further appreciated leaders and other stakeholders for their continued support to the school in its efforts to equip learners with knowledge and skills needed in the competitive world of work and in creating jobs.

Also present at the thanksgiving was Dan Mugyenyi, the Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipal Education Officer. Mugyenyi noted that Parental Care Bushenyi was one of the leading schools in the municipality and in the country. He also praised the school for its excellent PLE results every single sitting.

“I am very happy that during my tenure as Municipal Education Officer, I have seen Parental Care Nursery and Primary School Bushenyi grow through different stages to become one of the best, not only in the region but in the whole country,” he said.

“I pray that you maintain the same fighting spirit in all areas.”

With two aggregate 4s and 10 aggregate 5s, Parental Care Bushenyi was the second best performing school in Western Uganda in PLE 2025.
