Outgoing Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has returned to Parliament after a four-month absence.
Bobi Wine was a candidate in the 2021 presidential election.
He and nine others lost to incumbent President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni.
The singer-turned-politician tried to challenge the election results but later opted to withdraw the petition from the Supreme Court.
He has since referred his case to the ‘public court’ and declared peaceful protests after claiming he polled 54 per cent of the total votes cast.
Today, Bobi Wine showed up at Parliament after over four months.
Bobi Wine spent the four months in campaigns and post-election plans.
After representing Kyadondo East since 2017, Bobi Wine won’t be returning to the House.
But previous reports have suggested the area MP could announce resignation in the coming months to allow Bobi Wine return to Parliament through a byelection.
