BARCELONA – Uganda government is fast-tracking digital to harness new emerging technologies to be able to digitize every aspect of key sectors including education, health, and agriculture among others, Dr Chris Baryomunsi, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance, has said.

Sistema.bio, Africa’s teading biodigester manufacturing company, has today launched its biggest biodigester carbon program in Uganda in partnership with Native Energy. The program, otherwise referred to as the Uganda Dairy Biogas Program, is set to benefit small and medium dairy farms across the country. Sistema.bio and Native Energy’s partnership is expected to avoid over 1.5 million tonnes of carbon emissions over the project’s life.

All Ugandan Facebook users buying ads through their accounts and pages will have to pay Value Added Tax (VAT) every time they make ad orders, Meta has announced.
