Cristiano Ronaldo Scores His 112th International Goal as Portugal Thrash Qatar

Cristiano Ronaldo has hit a new record for international goals as Portugal beat Qatar 3-0 in an international friendly.

In September, Ronaldo hit double to reach 111 international goals, two more than Iranian striker Ali Daei’s 109.

Now, he has scored his 112^th international goal as Portugal took on Qatar, who will host the 2022 World Cup, at the Algarve Stadium.

Scoring with his left foot at close range, Ronaldo converted a pass from Diogo Dalot, also of Manchester United, into a goal.

At half-time, Fernando Santos took Ronaldo off. Rafael Leao replaced the football star.

Former Southampton defender Jose Fonte would later score.

In stoppage time, Andre Silva scored Portugal’s third goal.
