Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa Officially Nominated for Youth Western Youth MP NRM Primaries

Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa has officially been nominated to contest for the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) flag for the 2026 Youth MP.

Elizabeth Kakwanzi will hinge her campaign on promoting socio-economic transformation and fighting unemployment among the youth.

She says she will leverage on presidential skilling hubs and the Parish Development Model (PDM) to help Western Uganda youth come out of poverty and unemployment.

“Youth of Western Uganda, I come before you, with immense pride and gratitude, officially nominated as a candidate for Western Youth MP (2026–2031),” Elizabeth Kakwanzi Katanywa said after being nominated in Kampala.

“I thank the Almighty for His guidance throughout this journey, and my deepest appreciation to you all for your love and support.”
