EMBARASSMENT as Gen Muntu Calls Out Katumba Oyeee. See Why

Former presidential candidate John Katumba aka Katumba Oyeee may still struggling with embarrassment after Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) Maj Gen (Rtd) Gregg Mugisha Muntu called him out for lying about discussions with him in a caption for a photo he took with him.

On December 17, Katumba Oyeee shared a photo in which he appeared alongside Muntu, and former MP Kasiano Wadri.

Katumba Oyeee alleged that he had held discussions with the two seasoned politicians, hinting on politically working together.

“It was an honor meeting with Mugisha Muntu and Hon Wadiri Our discussions emphasized a critical truth: Power is nothing without unity. Together, we must prioritize collective effort to achieve a stronger, more united Uganda,” Katumba captioned the photo he shared on microblogging site X, formerly Twitter.

But Gen Muntu made it clear that no such meeting or discussions had taken place. That Katumba Oyeee had asked him and Wadri for a photo.

“We seem to be living in interesting times. John, we bumped into each other as you were entering and we were exiting a hotel lobby. You asked for a photo and we gladly obliged as we do to all who ask. If you would like us having any chat we can have one as we do to all who ask,” Muntu wrote.

Muntu is known to speak his mind without fear or favour. Last week, reminded President Museveni that he would not be permanently here and that he would one day leave power just like Syria’s Bashar Al-Assad left recently. (See Details Here and There).
