Fun Factory actress Veronica Namanda is out of danger after being caught up as the House of Rest Church ceiling collapsed at Fido Dido building in Kampala on March 15.
Namanda was attending a lunch hour service at House of Rest when the ceiling collapsed.
She rushed to St Catherine Hospital in Kampala.
“The team at St Catherine Hospital have done their part and she is recovering at what they advise is good speed,” said Fun Factory.
“She is currently in the care of family and we have faith that she will fully recover to her usual cheeky and bubbly self.”
The comedy group said Namanda had not suffered physical harm but had undergone trauma.
“Today we experienced first hand how terrible extreme shock and trauma can be. She survived physical injury by God’s grace but she literally saw hell break loose inches away… the shock and psychological trauma terribly affected her,” the group added.
“We thank God for Namanda Kiwanuka’s Life. God has given her another chance to Live! We pray for Healing for all those that were caught up in this Tragedy!”
