Here’s How St Mukasa Preparatory Seminary Mushanga Candidates Performed in PLE 2024

St Mukasa Preparatory Seminary Mushanga, which is run under the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbarara, has posted good performance in the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), according to results released on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

Janet Kataaha Museveni, the Ugandan First Lady and Minister of Education and Sports, presided over the release of the results in an event held at State House Nakasero in the capital Kampala.

Assessment body Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) Executive Director Dan Odongo said, generally, there had been improvement in performance in 2024 PLE compared to the previous class that sat their end of primary education examinations in 2023.

At St Mukasa Preparatory Seminary Mushanga, candidates, teachers and parents are once again celebrating after the school performed well in PLE as has been the case in previous sittings.

Based in Sheema Municipality, St Mukasa Preparatory Seminary Mushanga, had a total of 114 candidates sitting last year’s PLE exams, according to a results summary signed by Rector Fr Denis Bomukama on January 23.

Of these candidates, 91 passed in Division One or First Grade while 23 passed in Second Grade or Division Two. All the candidates passed in the first and the second grade.

“Thanks to the parents, staff and the administration for this spirited performance. God bless your efforts,” said Rector Fr Bomukama as he released the results summary.
