Gen Jeje Odongo, the internal affairs minister, has confirmed he had the list of missing Ugandans, over two weeks since the president ordered its release.
Hours after he skipped a parliamentary sitting where he was expected to present the list, the minister said he had the list.
In mid February, President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni ordered security agencies to publish the list of missing Ugandans.
A fortnight later, the security chiefs were yet to release the list, prompting Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga to summon Odongo to account for the missing.
But the minister was no show during March 02 plenary.
Speaker Kadaga asked MPs to present names of their missing constituents.
Hours later, Minister Odongo told NBS, “I have the list.”
He added that his list comprised 177 people.
The general confirmed he would present the list before Parliament on March 04.
