Uganda Police Force (UPF) has identified the victims of the people hit by bombs in Kwata Zone, Komamboga in Kampala.
The bomb blast killed one person.
Security agencies handling investigations into the matter have also revised the number of those injured.
“The number of injured persons, has been lowered from seven to three, after all victims were thoroughly traced,” said police spokesperson Fred Enanga.
Enanga said the injured were: The three: Annet Kiconco, Rose Nakitto and Peter Ssenyonga.
“Both Peter and Annet are still in critical condition. Our teams have checked on them at Mulago Hospital and we wish them quick recovery,” added Enanga.
“We want to thank the first responders who evacuated the victims to the nearest medical centers.”
The police spokesperson also identified the deceased as Emily Nyiraneza.
Nyiraneza was aged 20.
She was a waitress at the Digida Pork Joint in Komamboga where the bomb blast happened.
Nyiraneza succumbed to the deep injuries on her head, back and left leg.
