LIST: See Names of 1700 Teachers Shortlisted for Jobs on Government Payroll

About 1700 Ugandans have been shortlisted for interviews for government payroll jobs as teachers (both senior education assistant and education assistant) in Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) schools. The lists were released by the Education Service Commission (ESC).

The shortlisted were the best out of those who applied for the jobs when the ESC put out a call for applications from interested candidates.

Interviews are already taking place at Kololo SSS and will be completed at the end of this month.

“This is to inform candidates who responded to ESC Adverts No. 3 and 4/2024 that the shortlists have been released… Interviews will be conducted at Kololo SSS from Thursday 16th January 2025 to Friday 30th January 2025 starting at 8:00am each day,” announced acting ESC secretary Mohammed Kaaya.

“Candidates should come along with originals of their Certificates and Transcripts, National Identity Cards plus employment related documents. Candidates should appear as scheduled.

Requests for rescheduling will not be accepted. Candidates should note that ALL services rendered by Education Service Commission are free of charge. Those whose names do not appear should consider themselves unsuccessful.”

The lists of candidates have been released in a manner that allows candidates to know on what Board they appear and what date they should go for interviews.
