Muhoozi Kainerugaba: God chose my father Museveni to rule Uganda

First son and Commander Land Forces (CLF) Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has claimed that God chose his father President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni to rule Uganda.

Lt Gen Kainerugaba further claims that God picked Museveni from looking after cows and made him ruler of his people.

That it is God who fights for President Museveni, and that his enemies would always be in tears.

“This is the word of the Lord of Hosts ‘I took you from the pastures and from following the cows, to be Prince over My people Uganda!” said Kainerugaba.

“I have been with you wherever you have gone and have destroyed all the enemies in your path! I will make you a great name in the earth!”

President Museveni is Uganda’s longest serving president since independence.

In power since 1986 after taking power following a five-year bush war, Museveni is rumored to be grooming his son to succeed him.

Both father and son deny these claims.
