Speaker of parliament Jacob Oulanyah, who last presided over the reading of 2021/2022 financial year budget, has reported back to office after taking a break.
On his first day in the speaker’s chambers Oulanyah was also joined by prime minister Robinah Nabbanja.
Oulanyah then proceeded to attend the orientation workshop for the Opposition MPs that was organised by the Office of the Leader of the Opposition.
LoP Mpuuga, deputy speaker Among and government chief whip Thomas Tayebwa welcomed Oulanyah to their offices.
The speaker’s first public appearance in over a month is expected to put to an end all rumors concerning his health.
