REVEALED: More MPs Dumping Bobi Wine to Join Museveni Son Muhoozi Soon – Says Pro-Muhoozi NUP MP

A member of main opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) has claimed that he is certain a number of Members of Parliament (MPs) will dump singer and politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s party for first son Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s MK Movement.

President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s son has won his place among the key people who will shape his father’s transition and succession plot, and his MK Movement is slowly becoming a strong political organization that the opposition and ruling NRM cannot afford to write off anymore.

Months ago, Twaha Kagabo Mzee of the NUP party officially joined Gen Muhoozi’s MK Movement. He also began deviating from the party’s official culture, including that of boycotts, when he declined to stay away from pro-NRM party events.

The first-time legislator has told NBS Eagle that although he identifies as a member of the Muhoozi Kainerugaba Movement, but his political affiliation was still in alignment with the National Unity Platform.

Now, Kagabo says that he is convincing others to join based on what he found in Muhoozi’s MK Movement.

“I joined the MK Movement to assess its dynamics and was pleasantly surprised by the positive aspects I discovered. I have since shared my findings with my fellow NUP members, and as a result, many of them are likely to join the movement soon,” Kagabo has been quoted as telling NBS.

His comments came after Njeru Municipality MP Jimmy Lwanga of Bobi Wine’s NUP joined the MK Movement.

“Great to see my brother Hon Lwanga Jimmy, MP Njeru Municipality (NUP), joining the MK Movement. We are going bigger, ours is an unstoppable reality, and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba is Uganda’s next President,” wrote ex-MP Moses Balyeku.

MK Vice Chairman for Western Uganda Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has claimed that even Kawempe South MP Bashir Kazibwe Mbaziira has joined the MK Movement. Barugahara has also called on NUP leader to join the MK Movement.

“The MK Movement expansion not only welcomed NUP MPs Mbaziira Kazibwe, Kagabo Mzee, but also top party leaders. Will propose to our next President, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, to grant an opportunity to my brother Bobi Wine to head music and drama docket in the MK Movement. Praying he delivers this time,” wrote Barugahara.

It should be remembered that MPs Kagabo and Bashir Kazibwe have been involved in some ugly scandal, such the bribery saga the former was involved in. (See Details Here and There).
