410 Teachers, Non-Teaching Staff Confirmed. See Their Names

The Ministry of Education and Sports, through the Education Service Commission (ESC), has confirmed the appointment of nearly 410 teachers and non-teaching staff for several schools across the country.

The list includes graduate teachers or education officers, and assistant education officers, accountants, Senior Assistant Accountants, office typists, office attendants, workshop technicians, workshop assistants, cooks, and askaris.

Others are stenographer secretaries, kitchen attendants, assistant inventory management officers, library assistants and laboratory assistants.

Also on the list are five teachers who have been granted study leave while seven others have been redesignated as nursing officers, senior assistant nursing officers, head technical instructors, Senior Assistant Accountants.

“The Secretary, Education Service Commission informs Teaching and Non-teaching personnel whose names appear in the lists below that action has been taken in respect to their applications,” wrote Mohammed Kaaya, the acting secretary to the Education Service Commission, recently.

“The concerned personnel are requested to contact the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Sports for issuance of relevant letters.”
