Uganda Law Society (ULS) president Isaac Ssemakadde has spoken out on allegations made by twin sisters Cynthia Nakato and Yvonne Babirye regarding their failed ‘relationship’ with him.
Ssemakadde, who is currently in ‘exile,’ sent sympathies to the twin sisters for what they are going through but said he was handling the matter as private issue within his “household.”
The Uganda Law Society president also blasted feminists and moralists, telling them “to leave my household alone.”
He vowed not to respond further on the matter unless the government picks interest.
“To Cynthia Nakato and Yvonne Babirye, I extend my sympathy for your predicament. However, this is a private matter within my household, and I urge all concerned people, particularly those armchair feminists and self-appointed guardians of morality, to leave my household alone,” wrote Ssemakadde.
“I don’t intend to make public what is quintessentially private. There will be no further communication on this subject from me, unless the government is involved.”
