Minister of State for Youth and Children’s Affairs Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has disowned X posts by first son and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Barugahara has been praising Gen Kainerugaba on almost every post he makes on microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, until the account of the first son and military chief sent out a post on ending the lives of opposition leaders, such as the hanging of Dr Kizza Besigye in Gulu.
The first son had first announced a break from X, posting that Jesus had told him to leave the platform, as reported Here.
On returning to X, Kainerugaba’s account which had previously hit one million followers now oscillated between hundreds and a few followers. He promised to get back his followers and to shake the world.
Like the Bachwezi, the account disappeared after posts on Besigye hanging and arrest of MPs. (See Details Here and There).
Now, Balaam says Kainerugaba’s account was hijacked by some st*pid people. He says the hijackers have made it a habit to misuse the account in a st*pid manner.
He said he believes some of the posts thereon may not have been sent out by the first son.
Barugahara has previously made some interesting claims on Kainerugaba. Last year, he claimed that God had changed his mind on making the first son president of Uganda in 2026, as reported Here.
