The 75th graduation ceremonies for Makerere University, Uganda’s premier higher learning institution, kick off today, January 13, 2025.
The week-long ceremonies will end on January 17, 2025. Up to 13,658 students will graduate in various disciplines.
Graduands from the affiliate college of Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will have two days of the five days the graduation ceremonies will last.
Those graduating on Monday, January 13, are from the College of Education and External Studies (CEES), College of Computing and Information Sciences (CoCIS), College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Bio-Security (CoVAB), and the School of Law (SoL).
Graduating on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 will be graduands from the College of Natural Sciences (CONAS), College of Health Sciences (CHS), and College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS).
Graduands from Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will head to the Freedom Square, starting on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
The MUBS graudands graduating on Wednesday are those from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Tourism, Hospitality, and Languages, Faculty of Marketing and International Business, Faculty of Economics, Energy, and Management Science, and Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management.
Those graduating on Thursday, January 16, 2025, are more graduands from Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Faculty of Management, Faculty of Commerce, and Faculty of Procurement and Logistics Management.
The graduation ceremonies will end on Friday, January 17, 2025, with graduands from the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CAES), College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), and College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHUSS).
