An adminstration block at the Julius Kambarage Nyerere SFC Barracks has been named after First Son and Special Forces Command boss Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
The block is one of the structures commandant Kainerugaba commissioned on April 30.
The other structures launched – a medical store, a residence of the deputy commander SFC, and a communication center – are situated inside the Nsamizi SFC Barracks in Entebbe, Wakiso District.
The administration was reportedly named after Kainerugaba to acknowledge his contribution to SFC, the elite force charged with his father President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s security.
Also his father’s senior presidential advisor on special security operations, Lt Gen Kainerugaba was pleased that the structures whose construction was okayed in his previous assignment as SFC commandant were now a reality.
Museveni returned his son Kainerugaba to the helm of SFC in December 2020.
