WE WANT TO KNOW WHAT KILLED OUR SON! Family of Intern Doctor Who Died ‘Mysteriously’ Demands Answers

The family of intern doctor Rodgers Abaho is demanding answers into the cause of his death that is being described as mysterious.

Abaho, who hails from Bushenyi District, was an intern doctor at St Joseph’s Hospital Kitgum.

Aged 38, Abaho was affiliated to Kampala International University.

As Kitgum Police under the Aswa East policing region investigates the sudden death of Abaho, his family in Bushenyi says there is need for thorough investigations into what killed this youthful health practitioner.

It is said that intern doctor Abaho had reported for work, normally, at about 8am on March 24, 2025.

That he had been on duty up to around 6pm.

That he would be asked to attend to post delivery complications of mother in the maternity ward at about 10:45pm of the same day.

Perhaps feeling tired from the long hours or for some other reason, preliminary findings further indicate, Abaho requested a colleague to assist him.

That a one Dr Komakech would come in to help the mother with post delivery complications.

At around midnight, Abaho went to his home.

But a few hours later, less that 10 minutes to 3am, he reported to the outpatient department with rashes and that he had difficulty in breathing.

Attempts to save his life were futile. The intern doctor breathed his last at 4:23am, according to hospital authorities.

That was less than one hour after he reported ill and three hours after he called in Dr Komakech to assist (allowing him to go home).

Abaho’s body, which was taken to Gulu Referral Hospital for postmortem, will be laid to rest in Bushenyi.

The death of intern doctor Abaho comes days after the mysterious death of Martha Ahumuza Murari who passed away after taking drinks with a male friend in the manager’s office at Mezo Noir Bar. Martha Ahumuza’s further has vowed to do everything possible to find out what or who killed his daughter and why. (See Details Here and There).
