Makindye Court has charged and remanded Nigerian singers Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi aka Tems and manager Muyiwa Awomiyi to Kitalya and Kigo Prisons until Wednesday, December 16.
The trio was charged with doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases contrary to section 171 of the Penal Code Act.
Tems was remanded at Kigo while Omah Lay and Awomiyi were remanded to Kitalya.
Their hopes of securing police bond turned futile when the directorate of public prosecutions sanctioned their files.
Others co-accused Ivan Ddungu of Ddungu Resort Munyonyo where the event happened, manager Prim Kasana and event organiser Benjamin Kabura also face the same charges and have been remanded.
